One can write an essay of just about any topic voicing the writer's point of view or discussing an event or object. Statements all
directed to the argument support the main idea. Each part should be connected in sequence to understand the flow of the discussion.
A five paragraph essay is composed of 5 parts.
- Introduction - contains the thesis statement, which summarizes the body of the essay. Stress your viewpoint in a clear and concise manner.
The introduction in a five paragraph essay should be interesting enough to hold the attention of the reader.
- Paragraph 1 - contains the strongest argument. Support your thesis, as mentioned in the introduction, with convincing statements.
Use different resources such as books, scientific results and social interaction to backup your thesis in the five paragraph essay.
- Paragraph 2> - contains the second strongest argument
- Paragraph 3 - contains the weakest argum
- Conclusion - contains the summary of all the arguments. Restate your viewpoint and recap all the supporting statements mentioned in the
body of the five paragraph essay without repeating what you have mentioned before but rather reminding the reader the arguments presented.
